My introduction to the wonderful world of Sara Marie Designs was the hero tank top, which I slobbered about already. Tragically, that tank is not currently for sale, but there is a tee version. Since then I’ve really fallen in love with the company, and I window shop their website pretty frequently. Last year I ran a pretty hard virtual race, and there was no race shirt. So I splurged on this sweatshirt to commemorate my big day.
The RUN sweatshirt is incredibly soft and comfy. You can see that the inside texture is a million tiny soft clouds. I love the relaxed fit. I once dripped some hot chocolate on this shirt and gasped with horror (turns out it cleans up well also). I wear this so often that my husband calls it my “precious”.
This is a durable garment. I’ve worn it at least once a week for over a year, and it looks new. I appreciate that the lettering is high quality and hasn’t cracked or faded.
One of the things I love about the Sara Marie Designs website is that many of the size charts show the measurements of the garment, instead of recommending a size based on my measurements. I chose the size to order based on how I wanted this shirt to fit.
This shirt is currently available in gray and navy, but they deal in small volumes so sometimes size and color combinations do sell out. If you are thinking about making a purchase and have a favorite color, don’t wait!
For me and my frugality this was an extravagant purchase. The price for the sweatshirt is $68. Shipping is free when you order is over $75, so I do recommend making one big order instead of several small ones. Standard shipping to my area is around $6.
